When used with 1” polyester webbing they are easy to adjust and hold securely. While whoopie slings and some knots can slip or bind up when frozen, cinch buckles always work. They also provide a natural rain break to prevent water from running down your suspension in a storm.

When building cinch buckles I take the extra time to wrap the amsteel around the buckle from the center out. This method, unlike using a lark’s-head knot, makes sure the rope is pulling from the outside edges, helping to prevent rotation or slipping of the cinch buckle on the rope.

Cinch buckles come as a pair, straps can be added if needed. Once you’ve selected your strap option, add to cart and you’ll get a form to select color options.
